On Friday 9 2022, My Mum (Marie) came in and showed us this video on how to make Otai (A Tongan fruit drink you can make out of non-used fruit). After that she made us some Otai and everyone enjoyed it and also had crackers in it and it was so yum. After that Arianna, Phoenix and Litiane from Rm 17 came in and told us about the traditional clothing that some of their families made. The traditional clothing was the Ta’ovala (The traditional woven mat) and the Kiekie (Ornamental an ornamental girdle around the waist, mainly worn by women on semi formal occasions, but nowadays also sometimes by men).
